We have been using the Ardac Elite banknote reader in our model 3000 & 4000 series plus 5001 since January 2008 (see TB97) and the feed back from the customer base is very positive

However, we have found that on very rare occasions there can be a loss of communication between the Pescara interface and the Ardac Elite control system stopping notes from being accepted and putting the machine out of service. To rectify this the Ardac Elite core and Pescara software have been updated – see section 2 for latest revisions
